Chapter 58
We are living in dangerous and chaotic
times. The most recent disaster in Afghanistan has left thousands of Americans
and Afghan Christians in a life-threatening situation. In these uncertain
times, we stand in support of the Christians in Afghanistan who live in fear on
an hourly basis.
As I watch all of this unfold, I am
reminded that just because you're a Christian doesn't mean you don't fear. That
is why "fear not" can be found so many times in the Bible. Whether it
be a near-miss accident on a busy freeway, a negative report from your doctor,
a global pandemic, or the potential of a terrorist attack, FEAR can come upon
you instantly.
Our humanity needs the supernatural
power of God. Our human nature longs for the peace that only Christ can
give. I get such great encouragement from Philippians 4:4-7:
Rejoice in the Lord always. I will say
it again: Rejoice! Let your gentleness be evident to all. The Lord is near. Do not be anxious about anything, but in every
situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to
God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your
hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.
It is critically important that we pray
for those in Afghanistan who are seeking a life of freedom and liberty that so
many in our country take for granted. We must pray for the Afghans and with the
Christians stranded in Afghanistan. I can tell you that what the enemy intends
for evil, God is using for good and His glory. I can also tell you that the
evangelism in Afghanistan today is some of the greatest on the earth. So it is no surprise that the devil is working to unleash
and destroy the work being done in the name of Jesus.
The attack on The Church is relentless, and it does not always seem that we are winning. However, we have THE POWER OF PRAYER.
We need to pray for the leaders of our nation. We need to pray for the safety of the Americans who are stranded in Afghanistan. We need to pray for our Christian brothers and sisters who are being terrorized by the Taliban. And we need to pray for our soldiers who have put themselves in harm's way.
We pray for God's mercy to rain down on America and that we would look up from our distractions and be diligent in our prayers, waging spiritual warfare to combat the enemy. The greatest weapon we have to fight the battles we are facing is prayer.
There is lawlessness all around, but we don't have to fear. This is all part of God's ultimate plan. Therefore, I continue to believe that there will be a move of God that will be a Holy Spirit backlash, an awakening, and a political realignment in America in 2022.
God is forging us in these fires to increase our dependence on Him, strengthen our faith, and sharpen our focus in preparation for what is ahead.
Perhaps you are not the most eloquent prayer person in the world. God is not interested in your style; He is longing for your earnestness and passion. That is what we need right now! Earnest prayers. Passionate prayers! Even when we don't know what to pray, the Bible says that the Holy Spirit intercedes on our behalf. I pray that the Spirit of God will come upon you right now and give you a passion to pray like never before.
There is a problem in our country today. So many are believing lies and have fallen prey to the delusions of the enemy. We must rise up and pray! Let us pray for God's sobriety and wisdom to come upon those in positions of power and influence.
The Bible does not promise us that everyone is going to change. The Bible tells us the opposite! It says that evil men and women will only get more evil and more seductive with their lies. They will orchestrate narratives and try to deceive others into falling prey to their deception. But there is good news! God promises to pour out His Spirit. We must be willing to align ourselves to the truth. We must be ready to do what He calls us to do! Let us pray now! Let us pray boldly!
Paul went on to say in Philippians 4,
"Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things. Those things, which ye have both learned, and received, and heard, and seen in me, do: and the God of peace shall be with you." The attack on The Church is relentless,

lovely, whatever is admirable; if anything is excellent or praiseworthy;think
about such things. Whatever you have learned or received or heard from me
or seen in me, put it into practice. And the God of peace will be with you." This is God's direction in how we are to
live in turbulent times. Be prayerful. As believers, we must focus on what is
pure, lovely, admirable, excellent, and praiseworthy. When we do, the God of
peace will come upon us. I pray that the joy of the Lord
overwhelms you. Let's be united in prayer and pray that the negative news cycle
be broken. I pray that the Lord ushers in His mercy for our nation. I pray that
what is loose in Heaven would be loose here on earth. Paul said in 1 Thess.
5:17, "Rejoice always, pray
without ceasing, in everything give thanks; for this is the
will of God in Christ Jesus for you." I know that I used to think that it is
impossible to pray all the time until I learned to have a personal relationship
with the Lord. Now, I talk with Him all the time even when I am watching a
football game. I will say, "Wow! Lord did you see that! Or I will be faced with
a problem and I will say to Him, "Lord, I need some help on this one!" Stop
just giving professional prayers to God and start having conversations with
Him. I want to share with you something that
happened in Afghanistan that we can rejoice in. Evangelist Robby Dawkins, an
evangelist to Afghanistan, shared this story. The good news is that the Church
in Afghanistan is standing strong! Many of them are hiding in caves, many have
had to dig underneath their homes and hide from the Taliban. The Taliban is
conducting a search going door to door searching for Christians to kill them. The underground Church in Pakistan is
taking in those who are fleeing Afghanistan and protecting them and feeding
them. The Body of Christ is stepping up and supporting the Church in
Afghanistan and sending planes and equipment to get those who want out. Glen
Beck and his Nazarene Fund, are working
to get more evacuees out of Afghanistan, a dangerous mission now that the U.S.
no longer has boots on the ground. They have saved well over 5,000
people. But many Afghanistan Christians are
determined to stay there and work and pray for the Taliban to get them into the
Kingdom of God. The Church in Afghanistan is seeing signs,
miracles and wonders happening. A group of Hysorahs, who are one of the most
hated by the Taliban, approached the border and by the grace of God, the Taliban only turned
them away. The Hysorahs gathered to gather and prayed, "By the authority of the
Lord Jesus Christ we declare that the Taliban open the border for us!" And
about fifteen minutes later they went back and the guards allowed them to pass
through the border! The supernatural power of the Lord is working with the Body
of Christ. Remember what Mark 16;20 says, "And they went out and preached
everywhere, the Lord
working with them and confirming the word through the accompanying signs.
Amen. Praise the Lord for He is still working
with us! I want to share
with you what Sidney Powell, a renowned lawyer who is leading an effort to
unveil the corruption that happened in our last presidential election, wrote
this week. Among
other conservatives that stood up for President Trump amidst the theft of the
2020 election, the legal team that became, Defending the
Republic, challenged election results in multiple states and
produced hundreds of pages of evidence of widespread election fraud. The Left's
mantra of "no evidence" is pure propaganda. As
the world watched, our four fraud cases across the disputed states were
dismissed by each of four federal judges. The courts threw out the cases based
on the democrats "talking points" and technicalities many of which were pulled from
the dustbin of legal history. Not a single of our cases was heard,
despite hundreds of affidavits, statistical studies proving mathematical
impossibilities, disappearance of mail ballots, mysterious appearances of
perfect ballots, evidence of technological manipulation of the vote, and even video of women pulling
suitcases from under tables after a staged pipe burst evacuation, and of ballot
workers shoving the same ballots through the machines repeatedly coinciding
with an impossible spike in votes all for Biden. All this was set
against a backdrop of an unprecedented and inexplicable stoppage of vote
counting across multiple states, followed by the appearance of hundreds of
thousands of votes in block injections for Biden, somehow overcoming, by a slim
margin, what was previously a massive shortage of Biden votes. It
appeared that the courts were afraid to hear the cases. Americans who had
counted on our Article III courts to take up these
issues to protect the Republic and our Constitution were left to wonder if this
was the law, cowardice, or corruption in the courts. The entire Article
III judiciary put its collective head in the sand on the most important issue
to face the Republic. This was a constitutional crisis. We
had one silver bullet"that made them all panic. Our fifth and final
election law case did not challenge the election of any single state.
Instead, it raised a constitutional challenge to the Electoral Count Act
itself. The
Electoral Count Act was passed by Congress in 1887 and sought to alter the
effect of the 12th Amendment of the US Constitution. The 12th Amendment
provides that, in a disputed election, the Vice President would shift the
determination of the election to the House, where the House of Representatives
chooses the President by "one vote per state delegation." This is a fitting
design as House members are elected every two years and therefore subject to
their constituents viewpoints more directly than Senators with six-year
terms. The Electoral Count Act shifted the determination of the election
away from the House to a bicameral process. Under
the 12th Amendment's one vote per state delegation, in 2020,
Republicans had a substantial lead with 27 states where Republicans outnumbered
Democrats, 3 states where representation was tied, and 20 states where
Democrats led. If the 12th Amendment applied, Trump may or may
not have won outright as some Republicans opposed him; however, as long as
Biden were denied the majority of states, then Pence would have been the
victor; and in either case, Biden would have properly been denied the
presidency. Our
case, Louis Gohmert, et al., Applicants v.
Michael R. Pence, Vice President of the United States, challenged
use of the Electoral Count Act as unconstitutional. Our filing was
immediately brought to the attention of Nancy Pelosi who sought to become party
and oppose us, but Reps. McCarthy and Scalise opposed her in an internal
House leadership vote. McCarthy and Scalise supported Ghomert and the
application of the 12th amendment. Republican Leadership's opposition
prevented Pelosi from being able to join as a party to the lawsuit, so instead,
she was forced to file an Amicus brief. We
filed for an injunction at SCOTUS (Supreme Court) on January 6th, the
day of the electoral count. We filed electronically and had a congressman
deliver the paper filing required by SCOTUS. The Congressman was turned back by
Capitol Hill Police, due to the unrest. We succeeded in getting the case
docketed at 3:51 pm on January 6th. Given
Pelosi's participation as amicus, she would receive notice of the Gohmert
filing for an injunction with the Supreme Court. She would understand
that Justice Alito could alone enter an injunction against use of the Electoral
Count Act because he is the Circuit Justice for Louie Gohmert's district. Abandoning
any concern for mass covid infection from the deplorables in the Capitol,
Pelosi fired her political kill shot: she shockingly announced at 6:30 pm
that members would resume the count at 8 pm just hours after Michael Byrd
killed Ashley Babbitt and demonstrators were still in the Capitol. While
Vice President Pence presided over the ceremony, curiously, it was Pelosi
herself who announced counting would resume. At 8:00, the process promptly
resumed, objections failed to prevent Biden's election, and the joint session
was dissolved by Pence at 3:44 a.m. Notably,
Pelosi's rush to restart at 8 pm did not prevent the process' continuation to
January 7th. Members could have gone home to rest and resumed
the vote early in the morning without losing a day. In other words,
nothing would have changed regarding the date of the completion of the
count. The absurdity of driving Congress to complete a process amidst
such unrest was driven by something entirely different. Speaker
Pelosi had to act quickly to prevent Justice Alito from enjoining application
of the Electoral Count Act and throwing a big wrench in the democrats'
coup. The
next morning, with no comment, SCOTUS denied the injunction without prejudice;
a rapid response as Pelosi had already beaten the Court to it. Had
Pelosi not rushed, the outcome of the case could have been different, and the
President as well.End Quote! Even if you
believe that Biden won the election, you will have to admit that there was a
lot of hanky-panky going on! Be encouraged though, the result of the Arizona
audit is going to be released on Friday, Sept. 24, 2021. God is not through
with the United States and He has heard the prayers of His Church. The word of
the Lord said in Isiah 59:19, "For he put on righteousness as a breastplate, and a helmet
of salvation upon his head; and he put on the garments of vengeance for
clothing, and was clad with zeal as a cloak. According to their
deeds, accordingly he will repay, fury to his adversaries, recompense to his
enemies; to the islands he will repay recompense. So shall
they fear the name of the LORD from the west, and his glory from the rising of
the sun. When the enemy
shall come in like a flood, the Spirit of the LORD shall lift up a standard
against him." We, as the Church,
are that standard and the gates of hell shall not prevail against us! Praise
God!
